Pharmacology
- Mechanism of action: Same as semaglutide; daily dosing.

Clinical use
- Indications: Type 2 diabetes (Victoza), weight management (Saxenda).
- Usual dose, route, frequency: SubQ daily, titrated (1.2 to 1.8 mg diabetes; up to 3 mg weight).
- Maximum dose / adjustments: Titrate weekly for tolerance.
Safety
- Contraindications: Medullary thyroid carcinoma history, MEN 2.
- Black box warning: Thyroid C-cell tumor risk (rodents).
- Interactions: Delayed gastric emptying, secretagogues and insulin.

Adverse effects
